Pride

I am doing a study about pride. Here are some verses I found in the Bible.

Prov 8:13
The fear of the lord is to hate evil:pride and arrogancy and the evil way and the froward mouth do I hate.


Prov 11:2
When pride cometh then cometh shame:but with the lowly is wisdom.


Prov 14:3
In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride:but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.

What these verses mean to me.
We should hate evil, pride, arrogance and the evil way. When we are proud we do foolish things and our parents will feel ashamed. If we are humble we will be wise.
A fool is always proud, but those who try to be humble will be wise.

Lord, I ask you to help me to not be proud. Help me to be humble and wise. Amen.
